My mother-in-law passed away last month, she was 95. I thought I would try to paint her portrait.
This is from shortly before I met her over 40 years ago. I am so thankful for a good mother-in-law/daughter-in-law relationship.
This is only my third watercolor portrait, so it doesn’t look like her as much as I would like, but I think I’ll keep trying.
